Since 1967, Fiesta Day has been a celebration of Hispanic culture in Colorado. This year is the 48th anniversary of Fiesta Day and the creation of the Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee. Fiesta Day begins with a Mariachi Mass presided over by Bishop Fernando Isern at Bessemer Park beginning at 8 a.m.
The annual Fiesta Day Parade follows mass and then there are festivities throughout the day on the Fairgrounds. Highlights include music, dancing, and performances by the Fiesta Queen and her court.

Fiesta Day Parade
The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Day Parade, sponsored by the Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee, is celebrating its 47th anniversary this year. This year’s theme is “La Fuerza de lost Suenos,” which means “the strength of dreams.”
The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on East Abriendo Ave., and travels down Northern Ave., ending on Sprague Ave. Six trophies will be awarded to the most outstanding parade entries.
