Deals Plus Discounts Equals Dollars Saved

PUEBLO, Colo. – The 2009 Colorado State Fair is offering amazing discounts for all this season. With numerous deal days and affordable events, as well as free attractions, families are sure to have a great time while saving some major bucks.

“The Colorado State Fair strives to provide family fun while fitting the family budget,” said State Fair General Manager, Chris Wiseman. “It’s important to give families an opportunity to attend the Fair and a great way is to offer a variety of discounts.”

The 2009 State Fair offers these special deals and discounts:

Colorado Lottery Dodge Truck Give Away
Players can submit non-winning tickets for a chance to win up to $3000 in cash or a new Dodge 1500 Quad Cab truck provided by the Colorado State Fair. The Lottery will even pay the taxes and licensing fee.

Colorado State Fair Mega Ride Pass
An $80 Mega Ride Pass is available at Ticketmaster outlets or at the Colorado State Fair box office. This pass provides the user with free gate admission and an all-you-can-ride carnival pass good throughout the entire fair and 98.9 Magic FM Sneak Peek. Total value is over $350.

98.9 Magic FM Sneak Peek Night
Gate admission is FREE! Get a sneak peek at the carnival when the ride bands are $10 which allows you to enjoy the rides from 5 p.m. to midnight the night before the fair begins.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Pepsi Weekend Gate Crusher
Grab an Orange Crush at your local Pepsi retailer and look for the coupon for $1 off gate admission on any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday on the back of the can. Actual can must be presented at gate.

Saturday, August 29
Band Day
The Colorado State Fair thanks and appreciates the hard work of marching bands and preparing to perform in the State Fair parade. All marching band members in uniform get free admission and will perform on the Pepsi Stage throughout the day.

Sunday, August 30
Military Appreciation Day
Active military personnel receive free gate admission. Retired, discharged military and family members of active military receive $3 off gate admission.

Monday, August 31-Thursday, September 3 & Monday September 7
Loaf ‘N Jug Discount Days
Celebrate the end of summer with this spectacular special. Pick up a State Fair gate admission ticket for only $3 (a $2 saving) at any Loaf ‘N Jug store. The $3 ticket is good Monday through Thursday.

Loaf ‘N Jug Super Mondays
Buy One Get One Free Admission and all-you-can-ride Carnival wristbands. Coupons available at Southern Colorado Loaf ‘N Jug stores.

Never been to a rodeo before? This is a great way to check out the original extreme sport. For only one dollar, you can watch top cowboys and cowgirls compete. Price does not include gate admission.

Admission to the Fair, carnival rides and rodeo tickets are all only one dollar each this Tuesday.

Senior Citizens 60 and older receive FREE gate admission.

Pick up a buy-one-get-one-free gate admission coupon at any Southern Colorado Wendy’s restaurant.

Back to School Day presented by Loaf ‘N Jug
Free gate admission and $11 discounted carnival ride band coupons for students with tickets distributed at participating Southern Colorado school districts.
