Not Just A Fair---Family Fun-Fair!
PUEBLO, Colo. – “Stay-cations” have become a popular buzzword and Colorado has its own stay-cation paradise in the heart of Pueblo.
The Colorado State Fair provides a wide array of family entertainment at an affordable price; a full day of fun can be found for the price of gate admission.
Monday – Thursday $5
Friday – Sunday $8
Children 6 & under get in free when accompanied by an adult
Once inside the gate, families will be greeted by free attractions to keep the kids smiling such as Live Shark Encounter and the Timberworks Lumberjacks; there are also three free stages of live music, livestock barns, horse arenas, five nights of rodeo, art shows, and a petting zoo.
At the Colorado State Fair, shopping and eating are also two popular pastimes. This year, there are around 50 food vendors that will be serving up fine fair food for any appetite. Food vendors open daily at 11 am. With choices ranging from frosty lemonades to pork chops-on-a-stick, there is something for everyone. After you’ve filled your belly with fair cuisine, stop by the many vendors throughout the fairgrounds and the Kitchen Craft Hall to do a little shopping.
For thrills, head to the Crabtree Carnival for more family fun; it is open Monday-Friday from 2 p.m.-midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-midnight.

In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to Hispanic culture.
