Seniors (65 and over) can now enter any class offered in the Quilts & Comforters
Department 108 and be judged with their peers.  
  
QUILTS
Our Quilt Department features 46 different quilt classes for quilters to enter--
be it  quilts constructed
and quilted by one person (1 person quilt) or
be it quilts constructed by one person and quilted by
someone else (2 person quilt).  Quilts entered are judged by Colorado Quilting Council judges.
The Colorado Quilting Council offers a special monetary prize for a first time quilter.

PANTRY
Our Pantry Department is for Culinary Devas.  If you consider yourself a Culinary Deva and enjoy all
aspects of food from
preserving to dehydrating to baking and candy making this is the place for
you.  You could even be this year’s
Queen or King of the Kitchen.  Check out the requirements. 
We also have for the younger set a Princess or Prince competition, ages 18 and under.
NEEDLE ARTSUpdated 6/7/10

Seniors (65 and over) can now enter any Division and any Class offered in the
Needle Arts Department 109 and be judged with their peers.    

Our Needle Arts Department offers competitions in sewing, latch hooking, machine embroidery,
hand embroidery, counted cross-stitch, needlepoint, tatting and lacing, weaving,
and knitting and
crocheting.  We also offer special Divisions for Holiday Items, Men's Needlearts, and
Senior Citizens.  You can even enter Heritage (50 years or older) quilts and lace and linens.
DOLLS
Our Doll Department is for everyone who loves dolls or doll houses.  There is a Collectible Doll Division
that offers classes specific to collectible dolls but also offers classes for collectible doll dishes, teddy
bears, trucks, cars,  trains, etc.  We even offer classes that are specific for any repaired, rejuvenated,
recycled, etc. doll or toy.  Don't miss looking at the Cloth Dolls, Creative Dolls, Doll Clothing and
Miniatures (doll houses and scenes) Divisions.
 ARTS & CRAFTS

Seniors (65 and over) and the Developmentally Challenged may now enter any Division and any Class
offered in the Arts & Crafts Department 111 and be judged with their peers.  

Our Arts & Crafts Department is definately for the HOBBYIST.  We feature the following Divisions:
Ceramics, Tole/Decorative Painting, Wood, Scroll Saw, Leather, Metal, Legos, Home Decor, Glass,
Jewelry, Beading, Collections and Holiday.   There is also a catch all Division that includes hobbies
we don't have Divisions for!

PORCELAIN ART
Our Porcelain Art Department is for the serious "china painter".   We offer seven different skill levels
and 22 Classes.

FLORICULTURE
Our Floriculture Department is for the avid "flower farmer".  We offer Divisions in potted plants,
cut flowers, herbs, and artistic arrangements.  Also don't miss looking at our Dahlia Show Division!
HORTICULTURE
Our Open Horticulture Department features Divisions for all who cultivate fruits and vegetables!
Divisions included are commercial vegetable packs, fresh vegetables, root crops, vine crops, onions,
potatoes, and fruit crops.  We offer a Junior Horticulture Division especially for 4H and FFA members
only.

VIEW PICTURES OF 2009 HORTICULTURE 1ST PLACE WINNERS   Please note that youth pictured
with an entry may not be the actual exhibitor.  Sometimes other youth posed for pictures for exhibitors
not present.
FIELD CROPS & HAY

Our Open Field Crops Department includes the following Divisions--Exchange Bundles & Sheaves,
and Seeds & Pecks.  We offer a Junior Field Crops Division especially for 4H and FFA members
only.  Our Baled Hay Division offers classes in both Alfalfa and Grass.  Exhibitors will be provided
with composite lab test results on each entry received.
FFA AGRICULTURE MECHANICS
This Department is for Colorado FFA members only whose work and records are completed to date
and who are cerfitified by their teacher of Vocational Agriculture.
