Free Stage Line up

The Colorado State Fair has a long history of showcasing some of music's hottest newcomers via free performances on the Fairgrounds' entertainment tent and amphitheatre stage. Past entertainers featured in the State Fair's free venues include Garth Brooks, Billy Dean and Little Texas.

THE AMERICAN FURNITURE WAREHOUSE AMPHITHEATRE

The Amphitheatre is a perennial favorite place for State Fair visitors to relax and enjoy the talents of free regionally and nationally known musicians each day of the Colorado State Fair. The grassy slope opposite the band shell is an inviting spot for fairgoers to experience musical talents.

NEW! WeatherPORT ENTERTAINMENT TENT

The Colorado State Fair developed a partnership with Hansen WeatherPORT Corp. totaling $300,000 over ten years. WeatherPORT, based in Delta, Colorado, specializes in developing high-quality, fabric tension structures. The sponsorship provided an 18,000 square foot Gable building to be used for year-round events on the Fairgrounds.

Jim Keehne, CEO of WeatherPORT expressed his company’s excitement over the partnership: “We are a Colorado company and have maintained a special interest in the agriculture and ranching community. Our durable units feature the ability to be moved to other locations and be put to multiple uses. With the type of shelters we provide—the units can be small or large, made to fit special needs, providing the flexibility to repurpose—WeatherPORT had an answer for the Colorado State Fair and exactly what many agricultural businesses need today. ”

The WeatherPORT Entertainment Tent is located west of the Budweiser Rodeo Arena on the north side of Fountain Park and acts as the Fair’s hot spot when the sun goes down. Thank you to the Giodone family for providing the floor in the WeatherPORT Entertainment Tent.
