JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SALE BUYER
Livestock is a “Big” Agriculture business in the
driven through competition. Open Breeding producers compete in livestock
categories from Goats to Bulls and new standards are set for each breed.
Exhibitors come from
to achieve Champion and Supreme Champion titles. Some of the best
breeding cattle in the world are shown at the Colorado State Fair.
The dedicated 4-H and FFA junior market youth exhibitors, all from
in Junior Market shows. These exhibitors’ bring from rabbits and poultry
to goats and steers, each hoping to take home the coveted title. These
agricultural exhibitors compete in the largest
with the vision to be a sale qualifier for the most prestigious Junior
Livestock sale in the state. The proceeds from this sale can impact their
college education and individual agriculture opportunities.
Junior breeding exhibitor's expectations is to have their
breeding animal place as a Champion, Grand Champion and a
Supreme Champion or in Small Animals a Best of Breeed.
These titles will contribute to the development of their breeding programs
and give them an incentive that will impact their
future Ag business.
