National Little Britches Rodeo Finals
July 27- August 3, 2008
The Colorado State Fair is proud to be the host of the National Little Britches Rodeo Finals through 2010
Little Britches is the oldest national junior rodeo association in the country. For nearly 50 years National Little Britches Rodeo has been committed to providing a quality rodeo experience for youngsters ages 8-18. Contestants participate in rodeo events by age, Junior Girls and Junior Boys 8 to 13 years old and Senior Girls and Senior Boys 13 to 18 years old.
To participate in NLBRF contestants must place in the top seven in at least two rodeos for each event that they will compete in at finals. This guarantees that the best young cowgirls and cowboys compete at the Colorado State Fairgrounds.
Events at the NLBRF include standard rodeo favorites such as; Bareback Riding, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Bull Riding, Dally Ribbon Roping, Flag Racing, Goat Tying, Pole Bending, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and a Trail Course.
