Organized by Mesa Junction Merchants Association, the parade is a fun competition for children
12 years of age or younger. Children compete for trophies and are judged on costumes, creativityand just plain cuteness.

The Kids Day Parade begins at the intersection of Quincy and Abriendo Avenues and continues through the Mesa Junction.
Prior to the parade, the Mesa Junction Association will hold a pancake breakfast on Colorado Ave. between Evans and Abriendo.

The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Day Parade, sponsored by the Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee is celebrating its 43rd anniversary this year. This year's theme is "Mestizaje."
The traditional Mariachi Mass in Minnequa Park begins at 8:00 a.m. and the parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on East Abriendo Ave. and travels down Northern Ave., ending on Sprague Ave.
Six trophies will be awarded to the most outstanding parade entries.
The six categories of judging are; Most Traditional, Juedges Choice, Most Creative, Most Fitting Parade Theme, Best Costumes and Most Beautiful.
Don't miss this exciting displayo f Mexican bands, costumes, vehiclesand the 2010 Fiesta Queen.
