The 4-H Horse Shows are run by the Colorado 4-H Extension Office in Pueblo, Colorado. Colorado 4-H holds all of their events here at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. You will need to be a member of the 4-H Pueblo Club in order to compete at these events.

Saturday April 7
12noon – 3pm - Western Trail, Ranch Trail and Ranch Riding clinic with Diana Quintana
Everyone has been asking for a chance to work on the trail obstacles.
So here is your chance. Diana operates Quintana Quarter Horses and has been a member of RMQHA for 23 years and AQHA for 26 years. She has trained and shown multiple world show qualifiers as well as instructed many youth and amateurs in all around events. Diana has been a 4-H leader for over 20 years and is superintendent of the Colorado State Fair 4-H horse show. She loves working with beginners through advanced riders and believes that every expert was once a beginner. Ranch Horse Superintendent Ammie Thomas will be working with Diana to schedule a Ranch Horse clinic with cattle later in the spring at Diana’s house.
Saturday April 28
12noon – 2pm Showmanship, Horsemanship and Gymkhana Clinic with Autumn Haugen
Autumn is a former 4-H member from El Paso County that received a
horse management degree from Lamar Community College and now operates her own training facility in Monument, CO. She trains all around horses for the paint horse circuit as well as coaching youth and amateur riders from beginners to World Champions.
