CSF Board of Authority Mission and Ends
The mission of the of Colorado State Fair Authority is to be a:
Celebration of Colorado’s vibrant and diverse industries, with emphasis on agriculture
(with outcomes optimizing use of available resources)
1.1 (Highest Priority) Coloradoans participate in a premier annual celebration of Colorado’s diverse cultures, communities and traditions.
A) People enjoy a safe, wholesome, informative family entertainment event
B) People gain an appreciation of agriculture and Colorado’s industries
i. Priority: Colorado agriculture, goods, and services
ii. There is continued representation of Colorado industries at the Colorado State Fair
C) People engage and connect with other cultures and groups in Colorado
i. Priority: Youth Engagement
A) There is continued representation of different cultures at the Fair
D) There is celebration of individuals’ interests and achievements
1.2 Colorado’s Agricultural Industry is Showcased and Celebrated
A) Colorado has year-round/permanent agriculture education
i. Priority: Focus on environmental-agricultural stewardship
ii. There is collaboration with county fairs
1.3 The Pueblo and Southern Colorado communities have a “Gathering Place”
A) There is revenue growth and increased venue utilization and exposure for year-round public and private events
B) There is an array of different activities/attractions for the enjoyment and education of the Southern Colorado public
