2013 Colorado State Fair PRCA Ram Rodeo

PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado State Fair welcomes its 53rd PRCA RAM Rodeo starting opening day of the Fair, August 23rd. The original extreme sport will thrill crowds with five nights of rodeo action and will bring top ranked cowboys and cowgirls from all over the nation competing to win over $120,000 in prize money.

Fair fans can also learn about life behind the rodeo on the new Chute Tours from August 23-27. Tours are available at 4:30 pm and again at 5:30 pm and will begin in front of the Grandstand Arena. Call (719) 404-2005 for more information.

Friday, August 23

Randy Houser & PRCA Ram Rodeo, Presented by Big R

Rodeo starts at 7 pm, followed by concert


Saturday, August 24

Dwight Yoakam & PRCA Ram Rodeo

Rodeo starts at 7 pm, followed by concert


Sunday, August 25

PRCA Ram Rodeo w/American Freestyle Bullfights

“American Heroes Day”

7 pm


Get in for $7 with military ID or Emergency Responder ID

Monday, August 26

Gloriana & PRCA Ram Rodeo, presented by CSU-Pueblo

Rodeo starts at 7 pm, followed by concert

Tuesday, August 27

Cowboys Kickin’ Cancer Fundraiser & PRCA Ram Rodeo

The 2013 Colorado State Fair will mark the Fair's 141st year as Colorado's premier celebration of agriculture. The Fairgrounds provides nearly $34 million in economic activity to Colorado throughout the year; $29 million of that activity is driven by the annual State Fair event. In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to the Hispanic culture.
