“Happy Together Tour” Update
Gary Lewis of The Turtles Unable to Perform at the Colorado State Fair

PUEBLO, Colo. – Due to circumstances beyond our control, Gary Lewis & The Playboys will be unable to perform as part of the Happy Together Tour show at the Colorado State Fair on Wednesday, August 27th.

All of the other great artists of the 2014 Happy Together Tour, including The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, Chuck Negron (formerly of Three Dog Night), Mark Farner (formerly of Grand Funk Railroad), and Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels will still be performing as planned.

Current ticket holders for the show can be granted a refund if they wish up until the show begins on the night of August 27th. Please call or visit the Colorado State Fair Box Office before the show for more information about refunds. No refunds will be granted after the show begins.

The Colorado State Fair hopes you will join us for a night of music that celebrates the biggest hits of the 1960’s and 70’s.

“We apologize for any inconvenience but ticketholders will still receive an amazing show by the rest of the music legends performing that night,” said Chris Wiseman, Colorado State Fair General Manager.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting, by calling 866-461-6556, or visiting the Colorado State Fairgrounds Box Office.

The Colorado State Fair runs August 22 - September 1, 2014.  For more information,

The 2014 Colorado State Fair will mark the Fair's 142nd year as Colorado's premier celebration of agriculture. The Fairgrounds provides nearly $34 million in economic activity to Colorado throughout the year; $29 million of that activity is driven by the annual State Fair event. In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to the Hispanic culture.
