Colorado State Fair PRCA Ram Rodeos Offer More
PUEBLO, Colo. – The upcoming Colorado State Fair is hosting five nights of thrilling rodeo action and each night in the Budweiser Rodeo Arena offers a different mix of entertainment and discounts.
Rodeo fans will be on the edge of their seats as Professional Rodeo’s top cowboys and cowgirls compete for wild rides and fast times. PRCA Ram Rodeo announcer, Boyd Polhamus, and rodeo entertainer, Troy Lerwill “The Wild Child,” will keep the arena hopping. Lerwill is a six-time winner of the PRCA Comedy Act of the Year award and former professional motocross racer who started his bullfighting career in 1994.
Besides nightly entertainment during the rodeo, national recording stars and discounts are also available to allow rodeo fans the most bang for their buck.

Want to know more about rodeos? Get your rodeo education on with our “Behind The Chutes Tours” and at the “Rodeo Experience” booth located at the tip of Triangle Park. From August 22-26, the behind-the-scenes world of rodeo is at your fingertips at 4:30 pm and again at 5:30 pm and begins in front of the Grandstand Arena. Sign-up for a Chute Tour at the Rodeo Experience tent 30 minutes before the tour starts. Call (719) 404-2005 for more information.
The PRCA Rodeo Experience booth will be open noon to 7 pm Friday – Sunday and 4 pm to 7 pm on Monday and Tuesday. Look for autograph signings from rodeo veterans like “Duke of the Chutes” Harry Vold to world champion cowboys like Casey Coletti. Learn how to rope or take a hands-on approach and learn some of the rules about Rodeo.

The 2014 Colorado State Fair will mark the Fair's 142nd year as Colorado's premier celebration of agriculture. The Fairgrounds provides nearly $34 million in economic activity to Colorado throughout the year; $29 million of that activity is driven by the annual State Fair event. In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to the Hispanic culture.
