Colorado State Fair Celebrates “Colorado Springs Day”

 PUEBLO, Colo. – New to this year’s lineup of deals and discounts for the 2015 Colorado State Fair is Colorado Springs Day on Wednesday, September 2. The discount for the day is a “buy one, get one free” coupon. To take advantage of the discount, fair fans can visit the Colorado Springs Business Alliance website at or get the printed version in The Gazette.

“Colorado Springs is our closest neighbor, with the most populated county in the State. I’m excited about Mayor Suther’s willingness to participate in this annual tradition. I would invite all citizens of El Paso County to take advantage of the discount,” said Chris Wiseman, Colorado State Fair General Manager.

 The Colorado State Fair is joining forces with the Colorado Springs Mayor’s Office, The Gazette and Colorado Springs Business Alliance to bring Colorado Springs Day to the Fair. The new discount is one of many daily discounts offered for the 2015 Colorado State Fair including the Pueblo Bank & Trust Fun 4-Pack, a Military and First Responder discount, Girls Night Out, Loaf ‘N Jug discounts, and Coca-Cola Dollar Day presented by KOAA.  The 2015 Colorado State Fair will mark the Fair's 143rd year as Colorado's premier celebration of agriculture. The Fairgrounds provides nearly $34 million in economic activity to Colorado throughout the year; $29 million of that activity is driven by the annual State Fair event. In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to the Hispanic culture.
